It’s been a bad food weekend... my parents have been staying with us for the past 5 weeks and they went home on Thursday (they live aboard) – apparently me and hubby saw that as a green flag to eat like animals... ALL weekend!!! We had our ‘naughty ‘ dinner on Friday – kebab and chips, then Pizza and garlic bread on Friday, I ate ok on Saturday (apart from the Easter egg!!) and then we went for an Indian buffet lunch on Sunday.
My tummy HATES me right now!!! so its Damage control from Now until Thursday... and just pray I don’t put on again. Sigh. I don’t know why I do it to myself – I feel like crap the second I finish eating all this junk!! This time of year is hard too – SOOOOOO many yummy Easter treats around, but I mean – who needs buy 2 get 2 free offers on Easter eggs?! £3 for 4!!!! DAMN YOU TESCO!!!!
Anyway – I have just done the weekly shop and have stocked up on yummy fruit and lots of Alpen Light bars (3 boxes for £3!)
Menu for the week looks like this:
BREKKIE:
Overnight Oats / 30g cereal / fresh fruit and yogurt
LUNCHES:
3 pieces of fruit
Alpen Light Ban
Ham Salad / Cous Cous
DINNERS:
Slow Cooker Beef Soup
Chicken Roast dinner
Slow Cooker Chilli con carne and rice
Chicken Pasta
Pork loin and SW chips
Beef Stirfry and noodles
1 x ‘naughty dinner’ – probably a Sunday lunch at the carvery.
Think I may start swimming again this week... Or the jillian michaels dvd. Hmmmm, we'll see!!
