2 week catchup, up and down...

It’s been a mad couple of weeks. I’ve had 2 weigh ins, one really bad... and one really good.

I’ll start with the bad. I fell off the wagon – no – I LEPT from the wagon, screaming “Calories come get me”!! I had NO focus or self control; the night before weigh in we had a pizza hut feast – large pizza (each), garlic bread and cheesy triangles. Needless to say I put weight on 6.5lbs!

So, I had a word with myself and although I haven’t been 100% on plan this week I have been MUCH more conscious of what I have been eating, adding more super free to my meals where I could. I weighed a day early this week and did my usual pre weigh-in weigh at home which showed me gaining 2lb. I was disappointed to say the least but with a ‘let’s get it over with’ attitude I headed to the meeting. I queued up and stood on the scales ready for the sympathetic look and comforting tone of the weigh lady telling me I had gained – only to be told that I had lost 4lb this week!!!! I couldn’t believe it!!!

Super chuffed and focused for the week ahead!! Funny how a loss can change your whole attitude towards the plan! Sometimes looking at the bigger picture helps too... even though I had a 6.5lb gain this month I still managed to come out the other side of January 2lb lighter than I was at the start of it.  


At the start of the week I had set myself a target of losing 8lb by the end of Feb... think I might have to up that to 12lb now Ive already lost 4!
